Kids Jiu Jitsu & Self Defense
Kids Classes
Welcome to Mira Mesa Jiu Jitsu self-defense and fitness. Thank you for this educational opportunity to learn and train with amazing local families. Let’s get to the key details why Mira Mesa Jiu Jitsu Self Defense and fitness is right for your family. Mom, Dad, and all kids are welcome. What we do best and better than other activities is the age-appropriate classes, which are for each organized age group. What this means to the student is focused personalized attention to a very specialized training environment. The key benefits of why this training is right for your family is the bond and connection built within the family dynamic. The family that trains together, builds together. One of the biggest benefits of training for any child or young students is the improved grades and focused attention on and off the mats. The ability to critically think during training will only help the student off the mat later in life.
Each class is 45 minutes which covers a vast variety of training with the purpose of building each student with each training session.
Yoga
Fitness warm up – focus movement
Self Defense drills – learning technique
Active training – using the technique
Personal support for each student at the end of class.
What to expect first day?
The Mira Mesa Jiu Jitsu training center starts each student off with a one of a kind 1 week FREE , no strings attached. Parents often ask, “why or how”? Let us be direct and transparent, success comes from giving back. Martial Arts is the one place students and families should not have to be worried about the cost before we/you both agree this is the right fit. The right fit is our only focus in the first 30 days giving each student hands-on one-on-one instruction.
The child/family should expect to have fun, learn, and more importantly, know you are learning a lifetime skill and not just kicking the air. This is a lifestyle martial art, which means each day of class will be different and giving each student new technical tools to build with.
